Hey people,in the last several weeks I had an idea how blizzard could cope with the itemization problem and with the rising prices on the AH, at least partly. I dunno what is going on on the US web servers (playing EU) but I'm an effective audience of the US community forum and I think that we are all seated together in the same start with the similar problems… So let's just offer it with a taken and see what u people think about this idea.First of all, it's mainly about an upgrade program for the existing weaponry as they are already in the experience.
Let's name some issues regarding the position quo first:- Unfortunately rare weaponry are in almost all situations ineffective for ur own personality and not useful for the AH to make some Gold.- Either the product functions are pretty excellent but the DPS is way to low or the other way around.- Weapons with over 1000 DPS in the AH are too expensive- Inflation in the AH facilitates the costly weaponry due to the point that wealthy players can manage those products easily while normal/casual/unlucky/not-that-rich players have some big issues to gather the quantity of Gold.- and so on…Therefore I was considering an way to enhance weaponry which would actually be sold to the ingame suppliers, restored into iridescent holes or what ever… What if there would be a probability to upgrade those items? To give an product with excellent comes but inadequate DPS a opportunity to be something useful for ur own equipment or the AH?
Because of this I proved beneficial on a first set up of an product upgrade program with respect to the tool DMG which could execute in the following way:- You can upgrade ur weaponry at the Blacksmith- For each upgrade u need e.g. 1x Demonic Substance + D3 Gold- Each upgrade delivers a certain quantity of DMG increase- A "+X" at the front side of the product name reveals the existing upgrade lvl of a tool (e.g. +5 Struggling Chisel)- The achievements amount of the upgrade relies on the product lvl and the existing upgrade lvl of a weapon- If the upgrade procedure of the tool is failed the tool will be destroyed- A maximum possible of e.g. 10 improvements is possibleSo, for example for a lvl61 weapon:Upgrade / Success Rate / Harm Increase+1 / 100% / +15 Dps+2 / 100% / +15 Dps+3 / 100% / +15 Dps+4 / 60% / +20 Dps+5 / 60% / +20 Dps+6 / 40% / +25 Dps+7 / 40% / +25 Dps+9 / 20% / +30 Dps+10 / 10% / +35 DpsIf you discover a Blade with 800 DPS, a Socket, 65% Critical Hit Harm, 2.8% Life Steal and 150 Dex! This would be an excellent probability to enhance the DPS of the product up to 1000 DPS considering the danger, that it could be definitely destroyed!Please keep in ideas, that the example for a lvl61 tool just reveals u how the product upgrade program could execute. Maybe there should be no 100% achievements rate… Maybe the dmg enhance is way to high…
